 Hello Crafty friends , today I am able to share with you some exciting news back in november the 52 christmas card throwdown put out a call for some new design members I was lucky to have been chosen so today I am sharing my card as a design member of the 52 christmas card throwdown challenge, this is a weekly challenge and would love to see you play along... 

This weeks challenge is follow the sketch, here is the sketch to follow

Hello crafty friends, I've made this card for a couple of christmas challenges 

the first challenge I wish to enter my card for is 52 Christmas card throwdown challenge they run a weekly challenge which has a prompt to follow every week, this weeks promt is fussy cutting

 this is my card, i'm not great at fussy cutting I usually have the help of my scan and cut machine to cut out my stamps, but for this mug I cut out by hand, I used my cutter bee scissors I find these great to use for fussy cutty

the next card I wish to enter my card into is the Jingle Belles challenge this fortnightly challenge has a photo inspiration photo 

I have used the candy cane and the santa on the fireplace as inspiration for my card, I would also like to enter this into the ABC christmas card challenge I have gone for A anything goes .... I hope you like it 

Squish Friends

Hello crafty friends, today I'm sharing a valentines day card that I made for my Daughter, she's not keen on colour, black is her favourite so I decided to make her a black and white card, I love how it turned out. 

I am entering my card into a few challenges the paper funday challenge which is anything goes with an optional twist of monocrome ( I know it's not truely monocrome with the pop of red) and another entry for the shopping our stash challenge which is glitter me happy and  AAA clean and simple challenge follow the leader (although I think I might be pushing my luck with my card)

I've used the MFT stamp set called squish friends, the die cuts and sentiment are  lawn fawn, the backing paper is from creative fabrica, coloured of course with my copics 

Bubbly Butterflies

Hello crafty friends, today I've made a card for my best friend, she is always there for me even though we live many miles apart, I've made this card with the verious challenges in mind, first challenge was a sketch from try a sketch on tuesday this is the sketch to follow, and to their sister site double trouble 3-2-1 recipe

secondly the colour pallet for my card was taken from the AAA colourful challenge

I also want to enter my card for the shopping our stash challenge which is glitter me happy, I have used star dust skickles and also faux glitter paper from Honey bee stamps. I would also like to enter my card in to lil patch of crafty friends challenge which is anything goes and to paper funday which is anything goes with an optional twist of monocrome

my favourite gnomie

Hello my crafty friends, today i'm bringing you a card i've made for my dads birthday. i've played along with the inspired by challenge the inspiration challenge this week is Gnomes and /or follow the sketch, I've used my favourite things stamp set called happy birthday to my gnomie, as you can see I've used gnomes and followed the sketch 

I'm also entering my card in to the male room challenge which is clean and simple

Guest Designer again

I was lucky enough to be chosen again for the 52 christmas card throwdown challenge.. These are very special as your cards are voted by the other designers so always feels a privilege to be chosen.. this week's challenge is a colour scheme challenge and the chosen colours are 

Now, when I first saw these colours I was rather stumped luckily I had some bronze coloured cardstock had a rummage through my dies (thank you Tim Holtz) and out of somewhere I came up with this design
