first of all apologies I am a day late posted my card, life is certainly getting in the way at the moment 

This week on the 52 Christmas card throw down challenge is chose a theme from a previous challenge, I kind of chose 2 the quick card theme and poinsettia 

here is my card 

the design paper is from creative fabrica and I added the merry Christmas on my silhouette studio software

I thought I would use stamps throughout my card using postage dies from Tim Holtz along with the Reindeer stamp from the merry misfits stamp set, again using googly eyes and again using the polar playtime paper pad from craft consortium, the postage stamps are from waffle flower

for my card I used Tim Holtz winter watercolour 2 stamp set, I stamped and heat embossed the tree 

backed onto red card stock and then put hunkydory snowy acetate over the top

I used this Jolly Santa from creative fabrica 

I thought the backing paper from craft consortium nativity paper pack fitted the colours in the Santa perfectly

I used Tim Holtz stamp set Mr Frosty and the my favourite things snow background stamp , I used distress inks for the background and coloured the snowman with my zig real brush watercolour markers

October Technique

this week at 52 Christmas card throwdown

it's technique week 

this is my card 

who doesn't like a quick make, for this card I used craft consortium 3d decoupage set called made by elves 

this was a quick card to make the sheet is already die cut so it was just a case of putting on some foam tape and putting it on top for the 3d effect unfortunately you can't really see the 3d on the picture

I used the stamp set Christmas cupcakes from pretty pink posh and the patterned paper is called It's snome time from the craft consortium, the merry Christmas die is from MFT as is the sentiment

I used a tonic embossing folder and the card stock is from lawn fawn favourite flannel fall 

as always I coloured with my copics
